Who is behind Once & Leather?
Once & Leather is run by us — Arnaud and Sarah. We’re a couple and a family, making leather goods from our home workshop in Switzerland. Everything is designed, made, and finished by our own hands.
Where are your products made?
All of our products are handcrafted in our at-home workshop in Switzerland. We don’t outsource production or use automated manufacturing. Each piece is made start to finish by us.
Do you ship to the United States?
Yes. While we’re based in Switzerland, we regularly ship to the United States and internationally. Shipping options and timelines are shown at checkout.
Are your products made in small batches?
Yes. We work in small batches and sometimes one piece at a time. This keeps the process slow, personal, and intentional. It also means quantities are limited — but quality always comes first.
What type of leather do you use?
We work exclusively with high-quality, full-grain leather.
It’s strong, durable, and meant to age naturally over time. Marks, variations, and patina are part of the material’s character, not defects. Each piece will look a little different — and that’s exactly how we like it.
What is your returns philosophy?
We want you to truly enjoy what you receive.
If something isn’t right, reach out to us and we’ll figure it out together. Because each piece is made by hand in small batches, we don’t follow a strict, impersonal returns policy. We handle returns with common sense, fairness, and respect — just as we would hope for ourselves.
